Adding and managing your companies

Adding a Company

To add a company, click the 'Add Company' button on your dashboard. Start typing your company's name or number. Our system integrates with Companies House to auto-fill the correct details.

What We Auto-Pull

To save you time, we automatically retrieve your Company Registration Number (CRN), official Registered Office Address, date of incorporation, and Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) codes. This ensures your filing perfectly matches the public register.

Managing Multiple Companies

If you run more than one company, you can add them all under a single WeFile account. Switch between companies using the dropdown selector at the top of your dashboard. Each company operates in its own secure silo.

Updating Details

If your company name or registered address changes at Companies House, you can click 'Sync with Companies House' directly within WeFile to ensure your upcoming filings contain the latest information without manual data entry.

Archiving Companies

If you have dissolved a company or no longer manage its filings, you can archive it. Archiving removes it from your active dashboard to reduce clutter, but preserves all historical filing data and generated documents for your records.
