File your Self Assessment directly to HMRC.
WeFile's Self Assessment (SA100) filing is permanently free — no membership, no fee. Submit straight to HMRC using your own Government Gateway sign-in, for a clearly defined set of supported tax situations.
Free, and filed with your own credentials
Self Assessment filing never carries a fee on WeFile, and your return is submitted using your own Government Gateway sign-in — never a shared or WeFile-owned account.
Always free
Every original return and amendment is created with no filing fee, for every user, with no membership required.
Your own Government Gateway sign-in
At the final declaration step, you enter your own 12-character Government Gateway user ID and password so the return is submitted as you, to HMRC.
Direct HMRC submission
Your return is transmitted straight to HMRC's live Self Assessment filing service — there's no intermediary review step.
Amend a filed return
Once a return is submitted or completed, you can create an amendment from your dashboard without disturbing the original submission history.
What's supported today
