Membership vs pay-per-filing comparison
The Two Models
WeFile offers two distinct ways to pay: a flexible pay-per-filing model where you only pay when you submit, and a Membership subscription that covers up to 100 company filings per year for a flat annual fee of £250.
Break-Even Analysis
If you manage a single company that only needs to file one CT600 per year, the pay-per-filing model is almost always the most cost-effective choice. However, if you manage three or more companies, the annual Membership plan quickly becomes cheaper than paying individual fees.
Membership Features
Beyond cost savings for multi-company users, Membership (£250/year for up to 100 filings) unlocks priority technical support and the ability to auto-submit filings, skipping the individual checkout process entirely. If you exhaust your 100-filing allowance before the year is up, you can simply re-subscribe.
Switching Models
You can transition between models easily. If you are on the pay-per-filing model, you can upgrade to Membership at any time. If you cancel your Membership, you will simply revert to pay-per-filing once your current billing period ends.
Dormant Company Impact
Remember that dormant accounts have a significantly lower pay-per-filing fee. If your portfolio consists mostly of dormant companies, calculate the individual dormant fees carefully before assuming a Membership is cheaper.
