Continue editing a filing that is awaiting payment

If you have reached the end of the filing wizard but realise you need to make a change before paying, you can easily unlock your filing.

Returning to Draft

A filing left at the 'Awaiting Payment' stage can be returned to Draft so you can carry on editing it. Simply click 'Continue editing' on the payment banner of the filing. Everything you have already entered is kept exactly as it was, including your wizard progress, profit & loss, balance sheet, notes, and credentials.

Invoice Handling

Any unpaid invoice raised for the filing is cleared automatically when you return to Draft, so you are never charged twice. You simply pay again when you are finally ready to submit.

Limitations

Filings that have already been paid for or submitted to HMRC or Companies House are unaffected and stay strictly locked, as before. This feature is also available in the white-label portal, and administrators can reset a filing to Draft from the admin view.
