Provisions, deferred tax and unpaid share capital

4 min read

Certain statutory accounts require specific disclosures for future liabilities and outstanding share capital. WeFile provides dedicated fields to handle these cleanly.

Provisions and Deferred Tax

Provisions for liabilities and deferred tax balances are entered on the Balance Sheet step. In your statutory accounts, these appear correctly classified under 'Provisions for liabilities'. They are fully supported with iXBRL tagging to ensure compliance with FRS 102 and FRS 105 disclosure requirements.

Called Up Share Capital Not Paid

If your company has issued shares but the shareholders have not yet paid for them, this must be disclosed. You can enter 'Called up share capital not paid' directly on the Balance Sheet step. This figure is presented prominently on the face of the balance sheet as an asset, separate from your standard current assets.

Prior-Year Creditors Breakdown

To ensure your comparative columns are complete, WeFile also supports prior-year breakdowns for these specific liability categories, ensuring your year-on-year financial presentation is perfectly consistent.
