How can I file VAT returns with WeFile?

Hi,

I cannot see the VAT section on WeFile. How can I file the returns on my dashboard?

Hi,

The VAT filing feature is not yet available on WeFile, but we're pleased to let you know that it's coming very soon — and it will be offered completely free of charge.

Once launched, you'll be able to:

  • Connect your business to HMRC's Making Tax Digital (MTD) for VAT service directly from your WeFile dashboard

  • View your VAT obligations and periods

  • Prepare and submit your VAT returns online

We'll notify all our users as soon as the feature goes live. In the meantime, you can continue to submit your VAT returns through HMRC's Government Gateway or your existing MTD-compatible software.
