Amendment of a filing made with other softwares
Hi there,
Can I file amendment of a filing made with other softwares other than WeFile? Does WeFile support this feature?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, WeFile only supports amendments for filings that were originally submitted through our platform. We are not able to file an amended return for a submission that was made using other software.
However, if you create and submit your next filing through WeFile, you would then be able to amend that return in the future directly from your account.

Amending a filing that was originally submitted through WeFile is a straightforward process. Here’s how you can do it:
Log in to your WeFile account at wefile.co.uk.
Navigate to the Companies page and choose the company for which you need to make an amendment.
Go to the Filings tab and select the specific accounting period that was filed.
On the overview page for that filing, you should see an option to "File Amendment".
Clicking this option will take you back into the filing wizard (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, etc.) where you can make the necessary changes to your figures or details.
Once you've made your amendments, proceed through the wizard to the Review step and then Submit the revised filing. WeFile will handle the submission of the amended return to HMRC (and Companies House, if applicable) for you.
